Grapes That Taste Like Candy!

With the holidays in full swing we just want to wish you a happy and safe holiday season! We look forward to being apart of your fruitful 2020!

This week we taste-tasted some absolutely fantastic Candy Snaps grapes that we ended up buying the last 48 cases in Seattle. They’re ridiculously sweet, crisp and refreshing. I found there’s the tiniest hint of strawberry flavor in these grapes.

Size wise they’re on the smaller size and they have the white, frosty “bloom” that grapes have. The thin, dark purple skin is smooth and covered in a white waxy residue, also known as bloom, which protects the fruit from pests, decay, and moisture loss. The translucent flesh is juicy and seedless, though some undeveloped seeds may be present but are undetectable when consumed.

While grapes are high in sugar, they’re still very healthy for you. Candy Snaps® grapes are a good source of flavonoids, antioxidants, and vitamins A, C, and K.

Also in this week's delivery:

- Opal apples from Brojhe Orchards

- Halo mandarins

- Our pink-flesh "Christmas" apples

- Jumbo blueberries

- Rainforest-Alliance Certified bananas
